The boundaries of your license.
The following clauses govern the use, distribution and derivative development of BladeX commercially licensed source code. Signing a commercial license agreement is deemed full acceptance of these terms.
The executed commercial license agreement is the binding version. For any questions on a specific clause, please reach out to our sales team for clarification.
- 01
Use rights & licensee scope
Licensees may use BladeX licensed source code perpetually on servers registered under their own name, hold full source modification rights, and may integrate it into their internal applications. The licensed subject is strictly bounded: enterprise licenses cover only the contracting entity — not its parent company, subsidiaries, branch offices, or any third party; personal licenses cover only the licensee themselves — not their employer or any third party.
- 02
Confidentiality & copyright filing
Licensees must keep BladeX licensed source code and related trade secrets confidential. Whether for compensation or not, the source, documentation and related materials may not be disclosed, distributed, or transferred in any form to parent companies, subsidiaries, or any third party. Licensees may not file software copyrights on any software that contains BladeX licensed source code; copyrights on independently developed portions may be filed in accordance with applicable law.
- 03
Secondary development & deployment
Second-stage development must be delivered in project form, and customised software must be obfuscated and encrypted before any external delivery or deployment. If part or all of the source code needs to be shared with a partner organisation, a matching BladeX commercial license must be purchased for that partner in advance; without such a license, the software may only be deployed on the partner's own servers in obfuscated and encrypted form.
- 04
Competing products & derivative resale
Licensees may not use BladeX to publish or sell directly competing base-platform products; any same-category release requires a written partnership agreement signed in advance. The user-developed portion holds its own copyright but cannot be distributed standalone, since it requires the BladeX framework to run; when delivered to a third party, the receiving party must still obtain a matching commercial license.
- 05
Lawful use & breach handling
Licensees may not at any time or in any place use BladeX licensed source code for any unlawful or non-compliant activity. For any party in violation of this Agreement, BladeX will issue a cease-and-desist letter and pursue commercial breach liability under applicable law; serious cases will be escalated to court and, depending on severity, reported to industry regulators and relevant supervisory authorities, with all available legal remedies pursued.
